Nancy G. Malthaner

Has reached the victory of her faith. She has departed this world for her next big adventure in Heaven on December 11, 2024.

Born in Bridgeport Connecticut on January 19,1935, the only child to Harlan Sebring and Alice Josephine Gano. She Married John Conrad Malthaner on December 29, 1953. Nancy and John shared the joy of outside activities and growing plants as well as love for their six children David, Patty, Amy, Donald, Robert, and Polly.

Nancy enjoyed and loved each of her grandchildren David Malthaner, Amber Malthaner, Tracy Dorman, Stephanie Allen, Lauren Schermerhorn and William Malthaner.

Nancy Loved her daughter in law Ann Broderick Malthaner (Robert) and son in law Mark Smith(Amy) and her grandsons in law Seth Dorman (Tracy), Nate Allan (Stephanie) and Elliott Schermerhorn (Lauren) as much as her own children and grandchildren.

Nancy's beloved great grandchildren are Elyssa Dorman, Ethan Dorman, Dylan Malthaner, Rylie Allen, Hayden Allen, Camryn Allen and Audrey Cotton. The youngest of Nancy's loved ones is Olivia Malthaner her great great granddaughter.

Nancy never met a stranger and gave her love freely, often with whatever help that someone needed. She shared a special bond with her church family at Multiply Church in Columbus and the ladies of Hill Club in Williamstown WV her former home town. She also loved her special daughters through friendship, Harriet Collins and Sarah Vandenberg.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son David.

The family would like to thank Luminary Hospice service for all of their kind care and support.

There will be an open visitation on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 1:30-2:30PM located at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home of Gahanna Ohio. With a private service at the convenience of the family.
