Margo Elaine Floyd (Small), 68, passed away peacefully on December 17,2021, at The Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. She was born January 27,1953, to the late Sylvia Richards (Jordan) and Daniel Small. She was a 1971 graduate from East High School and later attended Columbus State Community College (formally known as CTI) and obtained an Associate's degree in social work.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Delbert H. Floyd and sister Brenda Lee Small (White). Left to cherish her memory are her two brothers Edward Richards and Daniel Small; her two daughters Ebony Floyd and Leslie Small.; six grandchildren Adrianna, Armani, Taimar, Breana, Dominique, and Bryan; four great-grandchildren E'Mari, Nalani ,Kami, Olivia. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and many loved ones who grew to admire her over the years.
Margo was employed by the State of Ohio for many years and The Ohio State University, where she was known as everyone's favorite cook (and she loved to cook!!). Margo was one of the kindest souls ever to be in this world and her generosity will forever be unmatched. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and hard worker who loved to shop, shop, shop! Margo will be remembered for her love of the Lord, her heart of gold and the many lives she touched. Although she will be tremendously missed, her legacy and story will continue on by those who knew and loved her.
Family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday January 7, 2021, from 4 to 5pm with the service starting 5pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 E. Johnstown Road Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
