Josephine "Jo" Peacock

Josephine “Jo” Peacock, affectionately known as “The Big Kahuna”, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 17. She brought joy, laughter, and a touch of adventure to everyone who knew her.

She lived life to the fullest with a big heart. She loved a good party with a cold beer! She never turned down a spirited game of cards and she loved spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren and, most recently, her great-great grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed puzzles, reading, boating, and gardening, always finding joy in the little things.

Jo is predeceased by her parents, Louis Harris and Amanda Moore, her sister, and three brothers. Left to carry on her legacy are her daughter, Cheryl (Doug) Hoskinson; her grandchildren, Jill (Jon) Howard, Amanda (Bob) Fout; and Matt (Kasey) Hoskinson; great grandchildren, Jordan (Blaine) David, Luke (Alexis) Fout, Jaime Howard, Grace (Seth) Holt, Jenna Howard, Kyle Fout, Caige Hoskinson, and Ava & Lilah Hoskinson; and her cherished great-great grandchildren, Willow and Titus Fout.

A service for Jo will be held on Saturday, December 21, at 12:00PM at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230 where friends and family will be received during calling hours immediately afterwards from 1:00PM – 3:00PM. Entombment will take place for close friends and family on Monday, December 23 at 1:00 PM at East Lawn Memorial Park, 27880 OH-7, Marietta, OH 45750.
