Jeff Honnold

Jeffrey Allen Honnold, age 64, of Lakeview, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at Lima Memorial Hospital after a lengthy battle. He was born December 15, 1959 in Columbus, OH to Mary Lynn (McLeish) and James Honnold.

He was a graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School (1978) and Muskingum Area Technical College (1981), gaining Associates degrees in both electrical and mechanical engineering. He worked as an engineer for Tube Products/Faurecia/Forvia for close to 30 years. He enjoyed boating, working on cars, and woodworking. He could build or fix almost anything. He loved good food and good friends. He could always bring a smile (or a groan) with his Dad jokes.

Preceded in death by his sister, Janice Honnold. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Theresa Honnold; daughter, Jessica (Doug) Tima of Westerville; son, Scott (Jessica) Honnold; grandchildren, Skyler and Bryten, all of Tipp City, OH.

The family will receive friends 1-4pm on Sunday, November 24th at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd), Gahanna with a Celebration of Life to be set for a later date at Indian Lake. Memorial contributions may be made in Jeff’s honor to the charity of your choice.
