Betty W. Compton, age 93, passed away on October 13, 2022, following a brief illness. Betty was born on May 25, 1929, to Clyde and Fannie Welch in Louisa, Kentucky. She married Jack T Compton in January 1953, and proceeded to have three children, Jack, Carol and Mike. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, and grandson, Elliot Michael Compton. She is survived by her brother Clyde Welch, her sister-in-law Phyllis Welch, her children, one daughter-in law, Angela Compton, five grandchildren, Jeff Fox and his wife Antoinette, Brian Michael Compton, Jason Alan Compton and his wife Melissa, Kyle Eric Compton and Erica Claire Compton, four great-grandchildren, Parker Kaysen Yount, Violet Lucille Glueckert, Cecilia Page Fox, Lilliana Marie Fox, two step-great-grandchildren, Madison Jedlicka and Dylan Jedlicka, and 13 nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the Schoedinger Margarum Funeral Home in Gahanna, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, on Saturday, October 22. A viewing is scheduled for 1:00 pm, with the funeral service following at 2:30 pm.
