Anthony “Tony” S. Kazlausky, age 53 of Gahanna/New Albany, passed away on August 31, 2023. He was born October 17, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio, the youngest of eight, son of William B. and Jean M. (Kwiatkowski) Kazlausky.
Tony attended St. Ladislas Catholic School 1 – 8, and graduated from Marion Franklin High School, class of 1988, and attended college for one year at DeVry Institute of Technology. He married his high school sweetheart, Janet Mull. They celebrated 37 years together. Tony worked for Cardo’s Pizza (S. High St.), Capital City Distribution (comic book distributor), Cardinal Foods and he was currently at G & J Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. for the past 27 years. He also owned Capital City Comics (retail comic and collectible store in Reynoldsburg, Ohio) for the past 15 years (previously owned by his oldest brother Bill and called British Papermill).
Tony enjoyed comic books, Marvel movies, video games (Robotron was his favorite), and making people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his greatest joy in life was his twin daughters.
In addition to his parents Tony is preceded in passing by his daughter, Olivia Marie; brother in law Richard Finigan.
Left to cherish Tony’s memory is his wife, Janet (Mull) Kazlausky; twin daughters, Emma and Scarlet Kazlausky; brother William “Bill” Kazlausky and his wife, Sara; sister Catherine “Cathy” Finigan; brother Robert “Bob” Kazlausky and his wife, Carla; sister Rose O’Brien, sister Marie Johnston and her husband, Jeff; sister Joan “Joanie” Pettibone and her husband Scott; brother James “Jim” Kazlausky and his wife Annette; many nieces and nephews; friends, co-workers and customers.
Family and friends may gather for a Memorial Service at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 6PM. directly following service will be a reception at the funeral home until 9PM.
