Shirley was born in Etowah County on August 28, 1947 to the late Harvey Lee Payne & Maggie Olena Payne. Shirley loved reading in her past time. She cherished her cat of 14 years "DeemDeem".
Shirley leaves behind her 5 children, Debra, Wayne, Kevin, Amy and Rachel; 12 grandchildren, Wayne Jr., Stephanie, Justin, Emily, Toby, Kaylena, Sophia, Ruby, Deseray, Grayson, Maggie and Aiden; 5 great grandchildren, Kittian, Chance, Carolina, Alex and Rylan; sister, Margie; nephew and nieces, Roger, Pauline and Bonnie.
A visitation for Shirley will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, Alabama 35901, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Shirley will be laid to rest in Whites Chapel Cemetery, 776 Whites Chapel Road, Gadsden, Alabama 35901.
