Ruby Joe Cranford

Ruby Joe Cranford, age 92, of Gadsden, AL passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Bro. Tony Smith and Carol Wasser will officiate. Burial will follow at Forrest Cemetery. The family will accept friends from 10:00 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home on Friday.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin “Bobby” Cranford; grandson, Timmy Cranford; and three great grandchildren.

She is survived by her sister, Lois Bergan; sons, Bobby Joe (Mary) Cranford and Carey (Loretta) Cranford; grandchildren, Tammy (Dale) Lowery, Cassie (Alberto) Rivera, and Craig Cranford; great grandchildren, Mason (Elizabeth) Lowery, Brayden (Paige) Lowery, Taylor Cranford, Jahden Cranford, Montana Watson, and ReAnna Watson.

Pallbearers will be Dale Lowery, Mason Lowery, Brayden Lowery, Jahden Cranford, Rick Sommers, and Billy DeJarnett.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of North Gadsden Church of God.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Gentiva hospice, Tammy Collier, Jada, Carol, Penny, and Tammy Woods.
