Mary Carolyn Cooper, age 82 of Gadsden, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Sunday, December 8, 2024. She will be laid to rest at Lebanon Cemetery. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Olen Cooper; daughter-in-law, Kathy Miller; granddaughter, Sasha Bruce Tarvin; and son-in-law, Lee Bruce.
Mary is survived by her husband, Gary “Sonny” Lamar Cooper; daughters, Judith Cooper – MD, and Julie (Shane) Gunnels of Gadsden; grandchildren, Savannah Cooper – MD, Caroline Luckie – AK, James Bruce, Matthew Bruce, Jeremy Bruce, and Jeremy Cash; many great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Gadsden Church of God in her honor.
