Laura Patterson Hale

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Collier-Butler Chapel for Laura Patterson Hale, age 53, of Coates Bend community, who passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015. Rev. Travis Brasell will officiate with burial at Liberty Cemetery, Alfords Bend. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.

Laura was a longtime manager and affiliate with Patterson’s Grocery and Beverage.

She was a member of the Cross Camp Cowboy Church.

Laura was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Brewer Shook, step-dad, James E. Shook and brother, John D. Patterson.

She is survived by daughters, Melissa (Kris) Smith and Brittany Rutledge; grandchildren, Lauren, Jordan, Kryslyn and Haddon Smith, Dixie, Logan and Analee Saylor; father, David D. “Speedy” (Mary) Patterson; sister, Sherrie Patterson and Jeri McGee, brother, David A. (Penny) Patterson, Sam (Amy) Patterson and Dale (Deborah) Patterson, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be friends and family

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
