James Edwin "Eddie" Robinson

Eddie was born in Gadsden, Alabama, on December 4th, 1947. After graduating in 1966 from Baker High School in Columbus, Georgia, he joined the Navy and shortly after married his high school sweetheart, Sarah Sticher, on March 23rd, 1968. Eddie retired with 35 years of service from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in October of 2004.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Carol Robinson and brothers Al Robinson and Sidney Robinson.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Sarah Sticher Robinson, and sons Chris (Christi) Robinson and Chuck (Carrie) Robinson, his siblings Missy (Don) Harrison and Bobby (Rhonda) Robinson, and his grandchildren Callie, Charly, and Cort Robinson.

Eddie enjoyed fishing and tending to his yard but was happiest when surrounded by his family and while spending as much time as possible at the beach.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Thursday, March 30th, 2023, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m at the Kiwanis Pavilion at Noccalula Falls Park.
