Grace Lambert Hale

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Grace Lambert Hale, 84 of Coates Bend, AL, who passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at her residence. Burial will be at Sheppard Cemetery. Brothers, Jack Campbell and Jeff Sauls will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Ms. Hale was a native and lifelong resident to Etowah County. She was retired from Hicks Shoes. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was devoted to God, Family, and friends. She served this life well for herself and everyone she ever met. She was loved by all who knew her and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Maggie Lambert; husband, Tom B. Hale; and siblings, Nell Morris, Ruby Williamson, and Jake Lambert.

She is survived by her son, Donnie Hale (Peggy Lee); grandchildren, Melissa (Bradley) Saylor, and Laura Lee (Brandon) Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Logan, Analee Grace, and Dixie Saylor, and Zane Wheeler; special niece, Jackie Lambert; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be members of Macedonia Baptist Church.

The family will accept friends Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She will be irreplaceable and greatly missed. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4.
