Faynell L. Roe

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 17th, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., at Collier-Butler Chapel for Faynell L. Roe, 88, who passed away Thursday, July 15th, 2021. Reverend Wade Hooper will officiate. Private Entombment will be at Crestwood Mausoleum. Arrangements under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.

Preceding her in death is her father, Reverend D.E. Latham; mother, Vernie P. Latham; step-mother, Pauline Latham; and brother, David Latham.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Charles W. Roe; daughter, Joy Roe Ballenger; and sister, Rebecca Dianne Williamson.

In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial contributions be made in her name to Rainbow Presbyterian Church-Missions (3220 Rainbow Drive, Rainbow City, AL 35906).

The family would like to express special acknowledgements of gratitude to Dr. and Mrs. (Cindy) Michael N. Wood, the caring third floor staff of Riverview Regional Medical Center, and the countless and precious friends throughout her life.

The family is so grateful to God for her life and is blessed for this fleeting moment to share with her. We look so forward to being in eternity with her and Jesus.

There will be no visitation.
