Anita Lowe Mobley

Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:30 pm at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Anita Lowe Mobley (81) of Southside who passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Van Lockridge will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband Ed Mobley; daughter, Kim Vice; father, J.W. Lowe; mother, Flossie Johnson Lowe; brother, Bobby Lowe.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Hutchison (Gary); granddaughter, Anna Bothwell (Zach); sister, Carolyn Garbe (Jim); great grandchildren, Ben, Mikel, and Hendrix; sister-in-law, Lynne Lowe; niece, Michelle Garbe; nephews, Justin and Jonathan Lowe. Six great and great-great nieces and nephews and many sweet cousins; Special friends, Vivian Ryals, Rose Schmuck, Todd & Catherine Varnon.

Anita retired from the VA/ UAB Hospital where she worked for Dr. Gilbert Perry. She had a great love for family which was the most important thing in her life.

"Mimi" enjoyed attending baseball games especially to watch her number one player, Ben. She was always delivering treats or playing ball with her boys.

Pallbearers will be Blake Erwin, Tyler Erwin, Jonathan Lowe, Chris Owens, Zach Bothwell, Jeff Johnson, Zac Hollar, and Jerry Allred.
