Shirley Jean Keeling

Shirley was born on August 28, 1934 in Mexico, MO the daughter of Clyde F and Mary Eva (Kroell) Jones who preceded her in death. Shirley graduated from Fulton High School. In 1952, she married Russell Cuno and they had three sons. Russell preceded her in death in 1965. She was of the Christian faith. Shirley worked her entire life as a secretary for local doctors in Callaway County. She retired in 2000 from Dr Groce’s office. She enjoyed gardening, reading, painting, crafting and canning, and was not afraid of the hard work around the farm such as putting up hay and raising cattle. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include: three sons, Randy Cuno (Dixie) of Columbia, MO; Dale Cuno (Debbie) of New Bloomfield, MO; and Mike Cuno (Teresa) of New Bloomfield, MO; one brother, Larry Jones (Barb) of Fulton, MO; one sister, Rosemary Zbinden of Fulton, MO; ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by twin infant brothers, Clyde and Clifford Jones.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 9:00 am – 10:00 am at Debo Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Frank Whitney officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date in Auxvasse Cemetery, Auxvasse, MO.
