Joetta was born on July 20, 1934 in St James, MO the daughter of Charles and Rose (Mahan) Adair who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on February 12, 2000 in Fulton, MO to Homer Elmo West who preceded her in death on August 24, 2022. She was of the Baptist faith. Joetta worked for 30 years at the Samuels Shoe Factory in Fulton, MO and then worked for 7 years for the Local Union #663. She babysat for several years, caring and nurturing numerous children like they were her own. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, fishing and mushroom hunting.
Survivors include: two sons, Donald Furlong (Connie) and Eddie Furlong (Cheryl); two daughters, Debbie Harding and Linda Cunningham (Bob); two brothers, Clifford Adair (Jolene) and Dennis Busby; one sister, Betty Vandelicht; son-in-law, Robert Mackley; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Patsy Mackley; son-in-law, Tim Harding; grandson Loren Mackley and his wife, Jenn and four sisters, Marie Brookins, June Furlong, Mary Pitts and Violet Easley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 from Noon – 1:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Central Christian Church Cemetery in Fulton, MO.
