Dorothy was born on November 7, 1935 in Bluffton, MO the daughter of August and Nellie (Garriott) Polacek who preceded her in death. She was employed as a CNA for Capital Region Medical Center for many years before retiring. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and traveling.
Survivors include: two sons, James Pierson (Vicki) of Fulton, MO and Randall Pierson (Geneva) of New Bloomfield, MO; one brother, August Polacek of Rhineland, MO; three sisters, Judy Harrison (Steve) of Fulton, MO, Faye Holzhauser (Joe) of Portland, MO and Donna Schoening (Tom) of Holts Summit, MO; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth Polacek and Vernon Polacek; two sisters, Helen Rosenmiller and Louetta Martin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, MO. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
