John Peter Brombach, 88, passed away peacefully, at his home in Placentia on Oct. 11, 2015. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather. He was born on March 28, 1927 in Minneapolis, MN. He moved to California in 1941. He joined the Navy at the end of World War II and served his country in the Pacific arena. He attended Long Beach City College after the war where he met Beverly Jean Ambler. They were married for 67 years. She preceded him in death in 2014. Peter was employed with North American Aviation for 37 years. He retired to play golf and travel the world with his beloved wife, family and friends. He is survived by his brother Richard P. Brombach; children Gregory (Sesilia) Brombach, Christopher (Beth) Brombach and Charlotte Wise; grandchildren Charlotte Orr, Andrew Brombach, Adam Wise, Robert Brombach, Elizabeth Braithwaite, Luke Wise, Nesi Mesman, Matthew Wise, Meghan Brombach and John Brombach; seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and close loving friends. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, Oct. 30, 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 717 N. Bradford AVE, Placentia, CA. Interment will be at Loma Vista Memorial Park, 701 E. Bastanchury RD, Fullerton, CA. Donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
