Twyla Letourneau

Twyla was born in Denver, Colorado on March 29, 1947, the eldest child of Vida and Raymond Engelhardt. Though her little sister, Debra, and baby brother, Thomas, could be a bit of a pain sometimes, Twyla loved them dearly. She was always more like a friend to her brother and sister.

Following high school, Twyla attended college at Northern Colorado State University and went on to work as a Data Analyst for Kodak and later, Lakeside Foods. It was while working at Kodak that she met Ronald Lee LeTourneau and they wed in 1988. They had celebrated 34 years of marriage at the time of Ron’s passing in 2022.

Twyla was a devout Christian. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she lives life eternal with her Savior. She was a member of Rez Church in Loveland and Faith Church in Fort Collins. Twyla was loving and kind. She was also a little stubborn and set in her ways. She loved to go antiquing, was an avid reader, and enjoyed golfing. Twyla was loved and she will be missed.

Twyla is survived by her brother Tom Engelhardt and his wife, Pam; sister Deb White and her husband Dave; and by dear friends Trudy Lovell, Mary Swain, and Bonnie Keller. She is preceded in death by her husband Ron LeTourneau, her parents, and her beloved dogs, Sam and Bently.
