Shelli Rae Woods

She was born May 14th, 1985 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Paul and Cheryl Woods. Shelli grew up on her family farm northeast of Cheyenne and was a 2003 graduate of Albin High School. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wyoming and worked as a pharmacist for Rite Aid and Walgreens. She loved helping others and was known for the special care she had for her patients.

Shelli is remembered for her sweet smile and kind and gentle spirit. Her thoughtfulness toward others and positive attitude in the face of a lengthy health struggle inspired and encouraged all who knew her. She loved spending time with her family and doted on her two nieces. Her puppy Jaxter brought her great joy and companionship. She enjoyed hiking, running, and other outdoor activities.

Shelli began serving God at the age of 12 and stayed true to that choice all her days. Her faith was a great source of strength to her and in turn she was an encouragement to others. She loved the fellowship meetings, workers and friends and lived for her eternal future.

She is survived by her loving parents Paul and Cheryl Woods of Fort Collins; her brother Cody Woods, his wife, Valerie, and their daughters, Hadley and Brynna, all of Rock Springs, WY; grandmother Vel Woods of Payson, AZ, and step-grandmother Jean Carlson of Lisbon, ND; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Al Woods and grandparents Beryl & Martha Carlson.

A Memorial Service will be held for Shelli on December 7th, 2024 at 10:30am at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens in Fort Collins, followed by a Graveside Service and Lunch Reception. Those who may not be able to attend the service in person may do so virtually via livestream.
