Michael Dean Vermilya

He was born August 27, 1958 to the Frank and Lorraine Vermilya. He graduated from Rocky Mountain High School and furthered his knowledge in various college and higher education classes. He was a member of Cameron Pass Nordic Rangers, Overland Mountain Bike Club and Diamond Peaks Ski Patrol.

Mike was a veteran of the US Army in Special Forces. He enjoyed woodworking, mountain biking, gardening, helping others, skiing, kayaking, and hunting for treasures.

He is preceded in death by: father, Frank Vermilya; sisters, Jeanette Vermilya and Lorri Wingett (Spencer).

He is survived by: spouse, Elisa Ann Shackelton; mother, Lorraine Vermilya; daughters, Jenna Sampson (Jeremy) and Clara Stiefel; sisters, Vicki Chamberlin (David) and Yvonne Calvery; along with nieces, nephews and extended family.

Gathering with refreshments will be 9:00am Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Allnutt Drake Chapel, Fort Collins with service at 10:00am.
