Margaret was born Margaret Arlene Stuart in Illinois to Melvin and Faryl Stuart.
She met Gerald in a soda shop in Kansas, Illinois near the farm where Gerald lived. They were married and moved to a farm where Susan and Tom were born. Gerald went back in the Air Force and
Jim was born in Denver where they were transferred. After a tour in Germany they relocated to Charleston, South Carolina where Marcia was born and then on to Oklahoma where Marlene was born. Then it was Japan and San Antonio at which point they relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado after retirement from the Air Force.
Margaret was well traveled and enjoyed travel at every opportunity: Whether it was a trip to England, a trip to see tulips in Holland, a ski trip in Germany and Austria, a scary taxi ride in Tokyo, and a trip to Hawaii. Her last major travel was on a cruise that happened during 9/1 1 which changed the travel itinerary significantly.
She was able to collect many fine art, furniture and other special items she was proud to have on display in her home to share with visitors.
She loved to entertain and cook for family and friends. Everyone loved her fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and all the desserts she would make. Her oodles of Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren were very special to her. She was fiercely loving and loyal to them all.
Margaret will be loved and missed by all who crossed her path. Many thanks to all who gave Margaret special love and care in the latter stages of her time on earth.
