I've worked at Skybridge for 2 and half years now. Jamie was the one who hired me. He took a chance on me given that I had a bad speeding ticket on my record. He said "So you're a pot smoking speed demon and you want me to give you a job?" My nervous "Yes?" made him burst out laughing and next thing you know I found a home in Skybridge. I worked my way up to being a dispatcher and that's when my relationship with Jamie really grew. We had our ups and downs but at the end of the day if I needed anything or if any of our drivers needed anything we knew we could call and he would be there. Jamie gave so much to our Skybridge family even at the expense of himself. I hope to keep the family environment he created for us going.

I’ve known Jamie since the moment I arrived on this earth. He would come around during the holidays and it was always so special to see him. When Jamie and my dad started this work endeavor together I started seeing him lots more, I also was old enough to recognize and understand him as an individual and not just one of my dad’s best friends. I started cleaning vans to help out and this was when me and Jamie really started to bond, I would see him every morning and he would text me before every shift asking if I wanted a coffee or a breakfast sandwich or anything that would help my morning. I felt so safe in his presence and even without him around I always felt protected because of how selfless he was when it came to my family and everyone around him. He would always tell me that no matter what happened or who fucked with me, he was only one call away. He was always checking on my car to make sure I had fresh tires and anything else when it came to keeping me safe on the road. 2 months ago I went out to fulfill my childhood dream and travel the states in a van. Jamie did everything in his power to make sure I felt safe and comfortable during my trip and even before. He was always checking in on me and telling me how proud he was that I was putting myself out there and taking risks everyday. A few weeks ago as I was making my way back home I got stuck in the sand and before I even accepted the fact I was stuck Jamie had called me and talked me through all my options and made me feel so safe and confident even though I was literally stuck alone in the middle of the desert. He helped me get a tow truck and reassured me that no matter what I’d be okay and make it out of the sand. That call was the last time I got to hear his voice and reassuring words, I wish I could have shared my stories with him and seen him one more time. He will be in my heart forever. Rest easy Jamie 👊.

My Dearest Jamie,

From the moment we met in that schoolyard way back when as kids, I knew I had a soulmate. We were different and alike in the perfect way. As the years went on, our bond only grew stronger. Even when you returned to New York, I felt that you were always with me. After years of staying in touch, you showed up for the biggest moment of my life when I married the love of my life, you proudly stood there with me while I said my vows. We connected so strongly again that you said you were moving back, and from the moment I picked you up at the airport, we were inseparable again. We spent time together, working and building a business. I taught you a trade, and you taught me how to fiercely take on challenges. When I was tired or weary, you always stepped in and covered me like an angel from above. You truly were my ride-or-die brother. It didn't matter what time or place; if I needed you, you were there. You were present when all 3 of my kids were born and shed tears with me as if they were your own. You fiercely protected me and them until the day you left us, always putting yourself last when it came to helping others.

As you began to have your own struggles, you moved back to New York. I never gave up on you because you were worth it and deserved a friend like you were to me. As you battled a silent fight with your own demons, I never stopped calling and checking in, even when you didn't want it, because I knew what was inside you was bigger than any challenge you were facing.

When I was presented with an opportunity with Amazon, the first thing I said when the contract was signed was that I needed my guy with me for this. You struggled to muster the strength to do what was needed to get out here, but I didn't let you quit. It was my turn to lift you up like you had always done for me. When we finally welcomed you back in December of 2019, you did what you always do and stepped up huge, covering me and taking bullets, and doing the hard stuff as we began a business way heavier than I could have borne without you. In the past five years, we have set records, expanded, struggled together, and conquered together. I got to watch you become the man I always knew was in there. That's the best gift you could have ever given me. I'm not sure how I'm gonna do it without you, but I damn sure won't let you down. I know you will continue your watchful eye over me and my family from Heaven.

We always talked about getting to the beach together, and since I know you're with Christ, I can be sure we will get that moment on the other side. Rest easy, my dear friend, and hold it down for me up there.

I was working at A&E tire when Jaime's and I paths first crossed. I serviced the vans and built a friendship with jaime before working for him. I remember when he came in to pick up a van I noticed how good he smelled so I had to ask him what cologne he wears and he replied with " I'll tell you what it is but you have to stay out of my territory " it being his area to pick up girls with his signature scent. Jaime had a heart of gold and put everything and everyone before himself. He was a sweet man with a thick exterior. Missed by me and many. Jaime is in God's chime chat room now. Love you buddy.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jamie during my hiring in March 2023. From the moment I met him I could tell that he was a straight shooter, no bs. Once I told him I was from Maine and an east coaster there was an instant connection with him being from New York. We talked about how much we missed east coast food, and how much we didn't miss the people. About a year into my work there I had an incident where I thought I was having a heart attack,  and Jamie ended up bringing me to the hospital. It ended up not being as serious as I initially thought, but Jamie refused to leave my side at the hospital until I basically forced him to leave. To this day, I don't know what I would have done if Jamie hadn't been there for me. He could have just left me there the moment he dropped me off, but he treated me the like I was his own family and made me feel safe and loved. Writing this I still can't believe he's not here. His presence was so massive I still feel like he's with us every day at the launch pad. Skybridge was blessed you have you Jamie, and anyone who knew you was even more blessed to know you. Jamie and I worked together for years. he was always a positive person, and I enjoyed hearing his stories from back home. 

I hope his friends and family are able to take this time to remember him for who he was. The crazy energy he had would fill a room.

Jamie was a colleague of mine that shared the day to day challenges in a parallel role within his organization. I used to love speaking with him on all aspects of life whether it was professional or personal he genuinely took interest and compassion in all matters. 
    I used to joke with him how he spoke with his words as much as with his hands as all good Italian Americans do. His New York style was awesome. Though I had just recently got to know this man he will be deeply missed and left a big smile and impact on all those on those whom he graces with his presence.  RIP Jamie until we meet again!

Every morning that I spoke with Jamie was a good morning. He had a special way of making every conversation memorable. My favorite memories of him were the meaningful talks we had about our faith in Jesus and our families. He was always very kind and generous towards me and I am extremely grateful for the time that I got to work with him. My sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends. God bless.

Jamie was a blessing. I remember meeting him for the first time and thinking, "This guy might be the nicest, most genuinely compassionate person I've ever met."

His heart was massive. Whether it was work, friends, or family, if there’s one thing Jamie did, it was care—deeply and unconditionally.

He never missed an opportunity to check in and make sure everyone was taken care of. At first, I thought, what’s the catch? Is he just trying to get on my good side, or what does he want from me? Haha. But nope, I quickly realized there was no catch—there never was. That was just Jamie: the type of person who gave and gave, without ever asking for anything in return.

He would go to war for you if he had to. I’ll never forget how he would stop whatever he was doing just to ask how my wife and son were doing.

Over the past four years, Jamie watched me change, grow, and build a family. And through it all, he never forgot a thing. Months could pass, but the first chance he got, he was checking in for updates. He truly, deeply, and genuinely cared—every single time. I don’t think he ever realized how much that meant to me. I’d often go home and tell my wife how those five-second interactions could touch your soul. Jamie had a way of doing the most with so little, and I can only hope to show even a fraction of the love and compassion he did.

Jamie gave me hope in people. He knew how to listen, and he always seemed to know exactly what to say. When I think about the kind of person I want to be for those around me, I think of Jamie.

You never got the chance to meet Liam, but trust me, Jamie—he’s going to know all about you. Rest in peace, my friend.

I had the privilege of working with Jamie over the past several years at Amazon. He always had such an uplifting spirit and genuinely cared about the well-being of anyone he interacted with. Jamie went out of his way to help anyone at the site, never hesitating, no matter whose team they were on. His warm greetings, casual jokes, and playful banter always brought a smile to my face and made every exchange a joy.

Unfortunately, he was taken too soon from all of us. His incredible spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with him or simply being in his presence. Gonna miss you, Jamie

I am so saddened by the loss of Jamie. Jamie was my boss at Skybridge, but he was much more than that. He was a friend & a positive light in all of our lives. He always made sure to check in on all of his employees & know what they were up to in their lives. When my father passed away, Jamie was very supportive & checked in on me any chance he could. It was nice to have someone to talk to that had experienced something similar. His kindness, orneriness, laughter, & overall presence will be missed by anybody who was lucky enough to get to know him.

Jamie was a man that had a love for life and wanted to be loved.  His willingness to share his feelings and express how he felt made him who he was.  He will be missed but I know that he has the love of our Savior Jesus Christ and a big hug was given in heaven! May his family, friends, and colleagues have a comfort that Jamie is smiling down on all of us.

Since day 1 I've known Jamie he's had the biggest heart out there.I was transferring from another DSP and trying to find my new one to transfer to.Skybridge was one of the 4 offerings I got and out of all of them Jamie's over the phone interview is what drew me into this company. He had the biggest heart and you could tell he was true and genuine to who he made himself to be over the phone.After starting Jamie continued to reach out to me and always check to make sure I was not only doing good at work but also with how everything that was going on in my personal life. He truly brought the term "family" to the company. " I care about you & feel like I know the people that care about Skybridge & YOU HAVE ALWAYS given me that feeling. I would do anything for you, so please never hesitate to ask if you need anything. " is one of the last messages I got from him. I got hired on with Skybridge in 2023. Jamie was the one who did my interview and from day one he has always had my back. He helped me get through alot of my roughest times that I have had over the last year. He always checked in on me to make sure I was well taken care of. Always reached out about my family to see how we are all doing or if we needed anything to get by.
Jamie acknowledged everyone's hard work and made everyone feel like a family here at Skybridge.

Jamie took a chance on me when I had just moved my family out here in giving me a job. We had an interview that ended up being a friendly conversation about everything except work, and he offered me the job on the spot. I will always remember him for giving me the opportunity to provide a better life for myself and my family, and the laughs we shared in my short time knowing him. Jaime was a bright soul and will be sorely missed.

I first met Jamie when our station launched in 2019. Almost immediately upon meeting Jamie, you sense his big NY personality, witty aura, and big teddy bear frame. He wasn’t just a colleague, but someone whose spirit made you feel like you could take on anything. Jamie knew how to make hard days lighter, and the way he made each person feel valued is something rare. Jamie’s kindness wasn’t just in his words but in his actions. Whether it was offering a helping hand without asking, or simply giving you the space to be yourself, his selflessness was a constant reminder that we could all be better humans. What I’ll carry with me forever is his example of generosity, the way he made sure everyone felt included, the way he lifted people up, even on their darkest days. Jamie may not be here physically, but the mark he left on us will continue to live on in the way we treat one another. I am incredibly grateful for the privilege of calling Jamie a friend. He was one of those rare people you meet in life who make everything a little brighter just by being around. Let’s honor Jamie’s memory by being the kind of people he was. Let’s keep the jokes going, lend a helping hand, and make this world a little brighter, just like he did.

Jamie was one of my favorites , always took care of me from the beginning. He cared about everyone and everything. Always did his best to make sure everyone was happy and taken care of. Always asked me how things were , making sure I was taken care of. He will be deeply missed by me and everyone.

I was hired on at Skybridge back in June of 2022. Jamie met and interviewed me and immediately hired me on. As I continued working over the months following, he constantly was letting me know i was going above and beyond and becoming the hardest worker and made me feel motivated and most importantly, appreciated. 
I vividly remember the day I had a really nasty fall and torn three tendons in my ankle while on shift. I called dispatch in tears and shock. Jamie and him both showed up. Jamie picked me up and carried me to his car and drove me to the clinic. He got me snacks and water, making jokes, and kept me company at the clinic the entire time. Just to make sure I was ok. He was an amazing boss and definitely a caring, kindhearted human. I’m so saddened by his passing and it sure wont be the same without him here. May he rest in paradise. ✝️🕊️

I was hired on in November 2021 and I called in and quit before my second shift.  Jamie called me from New York because he was home for the holidays and  gave me a second chance.   3 years later I’m still here because of him and all the other excellent people he has surrounded me with.  He cared an awful lot about this company he helped build and it showed.  He was always on site and he would talk with anyone about anything they were dealing with.  If you held up your end of the deal he would do anything for you.  It never mattered when you texted him he would always answer.  We’re gonna slay the holiday rush for you.

Almost exactly 2 years ago Jamie hired me on at Skybridge and instantly became a great friend. Instantly connecting because of our Italian roots was great and took up a majority of the interview. When Jamie would see me, it was always a handshake followed by "how are your kids" and "how are you liking it here, everything ok?". Also reaching out to see if I needed a ride in snowy weather or even offering me to borrow his spare car. I wish I was able to thank him one last time for being such a great boss and friend to me. This just makes me want to give it my all even more everyday at work, showing him how much I truly appreciate being hired on and treated like family from day one. RIP Jamie! So much love for you boss!🥺

My dearest Jamie,

Words will never be enough to explain what you meant to me and our family. You were my guy who could tease Luke with me and give him a hard time. You were always on my side, and it drove Luke crazy, hahaha. You were my guy that could talk with me about anything and everything and laugh and cry together. You had the biggest heart and would always send me loving, supportive messages for any and all occasions. I will treasure every note you ever sent. After knowing you for more than 28 years, you have left such a mark on my heart. You were larger than life, and we felt every ounce of love you gave. We could always be completely real with each other, and you were my brother and our biggest protector. How you loved Luke, me, and our kids was unbelievable and a gift I will never forget. It’s just not going to be the same without you, but I will always have your voice in the back of my head joking, “Ugh Luke, he’s the worst, right? wink wink,” and “Luke, don’t you dare say that to my Shelby”—all jokes and all love. I will always have your laugh permanently engraved in my head and heart. I look forward to the day we all get together again; it will be as though no time has passed. Love you so much, my sweet Jamie. Until then, I’ll always hold you close to my heart.

I am so heartbroken to hear this, James will always hold a place in my heart. Never in a million years would I ever think he would not be here for a crazy text or phone call anymore. I will forever hold our memories dear in my heart and soul. He was one of a kind and will NEVER EVER be forgotten.
