Irene Ruth Golubski was born to William and Ruth Lammers on January 1, 1930, in Buckley, Illinois and returned home to her Heavenly Father on May 20, 2024. A memorial gathering will be held at 2:00PM on Friday May 24th at Allnutt Funeral Service Drake Chapel. Pastor Shawn Nettleton will officiate. A graveside service will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery Hollywood Hills, California.
She met her husband, Richard, while on tour with McCusker's "Icelandia". They married on December 23, 1950 at Gretna Green Chapel in Yuma, Arizona. They were professional ice skaters and toured with productions such as Sonia Hennie Hollywood Ice Review, Barbara Ann Scott, The Casa Carioca in Garmisch, Germany and Hilton Hotels.
Irene and Richard lived and raised their three children in Southern California for 40 years, where she also went to work in Research and Development for the government. They retired to Fort Collins in 1995, where Irene enjoyed many activities and time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Irne Golubski is survived by her daughter, Sharon McComas; and sons, Rick Golubski and Greg Golubski; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
