Iola M. Revis

Iola Marie Revis (Fankhouser) passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2019 in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was 94 years young. Iola was born on July 29, 1925 to Vernon and Nelly Fankhouser. She was raised on a small farm in Tekamah, NE which she often spoke fondly of. In May of 1946 she married the love of her life, Jack, whom she shared nearly 62 years of marriage with. Jack and Iola resided in the Poudre Canyon where they ran Home Moraine Trailer Park and were not only well known, but well loved. They had 3 daughters; DiAyn, Cathy and Jackie whom she loved dearly. Iola was witty and charming, passionate about nature, sewing and quilting; and always portrayed a great deal of joy and love towards her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 3 great-great granddaughters.

She is reunited in heaven with her parents; Vernon and Nelly, her siblings; Robert, Harry and Bonnie, her husband, Jack, and her daughter, Jackie.

She is survived by and deeply missed by her daughters DiAyn and Cathy Revis, her grandchildren; Cody (Phillip) Anderle, Marti Elliott, Erin and Krista Vannorsdel, Tracey (Jason) Hovey and Kelly (Jordan) Zach. Her great grandchildren; Nathan (Lenny), Joseph (Anna), Emylee (Colton), Kaylee, Bailey, Colton, Lexi, Jade, Mikayla and Landon. Her 3 great-great granddaughters; AlleeJo, Kinsley and Elaina. Son-in-law, Ralph Matzner.

A memorial service will be held on June 13, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Poudre Canyon Chapel. In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, as that was Iola’s wish. Mom, Grandma, Nana; we love you and miss you dearly.
