Helen Louise Wright

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 10:00 am at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm at the Union Cemetery of Montgomery in Burtonsville, MD. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wright was born in Laurel, MD, on November 16, 1941, a daughter of the late Norman and Vergie Mills Dustin. She worked for McDonalds as a prep cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family, completing word searches and playing cards. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Francis Wright, her sons; Richard A. Smith, Jr. and wife Patricia of Star Tannery, Charles W. Smith and wife Crystal, of Hosford, FL, Brian K. Smith and wife Susan, of Front Royal, Ronald W. Smith and wife Cindy, of Front Royal, and Donald E. Gue and wife Angela, of Strasburg, her daughters; Brenda L. Settle of Front Royal and Helen R. Gue and husband Robert Williams of Stephens City, her brothers; Vernon Dustin and wife Delores, Tommy Dustin, Warren Dustin and wife Loretta, and Billy Dustin and wife Laurie, her brother-in-law, Sonny Snoots, her grandchildren; Ryan Williams, Tabitha Lopez, Tiffany Pedro, Ashley Gue, Jennifer Henry, Charles Smith, Scotty Gue, Sarah Smith, Terri Settle, Coleman Wetzel, Ethan Gue, Dustin Gue, Dylan Gue, Beau Smith, Jeffery Hunter, her eight great-grandchildren, and her cherished pets, her dog Teddy, and her cat Smokey.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Snoots, and her sister-in-law, Bernie Dustin.

Pallbears will be Richard Smith, Charles Smith, Brian Smith, Ronald Smith, Donald Gue, and Robert Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Beau Smith, Scotty Gue, Charles Smith, Jr. and Ethan Gue.
