Jeanne was a 1951 graduate of West End High School, where she made lifelong friendships. She took pride in her work as a flight attendant for American Airlines with her best friend Nancy Delbridge Boston. Their journey together saw the two based at some exciting cities including San Francisco, Honolulu and Dallas.
Jeanne married in 1960 in Dallas Texas. She moved to Bristol Tennessee in 1965, where she adopted her two children, Allison and Colson. The family had a very busy social life, and they made lots of lifelong friendships. In 1992 Jeanne moved back to Nashville to be closer to her family and friends.
Jeanne was always refined, beautiful, and kept a meticulous home. Her sharp wit, love for doing puzzles and going to the "pretty parlor" lasted through her final days.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William Brown (Bill) Crowder. Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Allison Ann Rowley; son Brock Colson Rowley, Jr. (Mandi); grandchildren Britton Lacey Rowley, Mary Frances Kathleen Formichella, Brock Colson Rowley, III; and brother Larry H Crowder (Linda).
Jeanne held a special place in her heart for her niece, Dede Scott, who always made sure Jeanne was surrounded with family, love, and care, especially during her later years in Nashville. Jeanne's trust and love for Dede is everlasting.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the charity of their choice.
