James Stampler Geiser of Frisco, TX passed away on April 23, 2024. Jim was a cherished husband, brother and father who touched many lives with his warmth and kindness. Jim was born on August 18, 1951 in the Bronx, NY.
Jim had a career in sales for various companies most notably Parade Magazine and Cablevision. He approached each interaction with genuine desire to fulfill people’s needs. He had many hobbies but most notably James could be seen walking the neighborhood to reach his daily goal of 20,000 steps. You could normally find him listening to his music no matter the weather.
Jim lived a remarkable life of courage, strength, and unwavering commitment to sobriety for 36 years, which began on July 13, 1987. A dedicated member of various 12-step fellowship groups, he inspired countless individuals with his resilience and determination to overcome adversity. Throughout his journey, he not only transformed his own life but also served as a beacon of hope and support for others struggling with addiction.
Jim is reunited in eternal peace with his beloved mother, father, and sister, who preceded him in death. Jim treasured the profound influence they had on his life. Though they may no longer be with us in body, their legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished memories will continue to live on in the hearts of all that knew them.
Left to cherish Jim’s memory are his devoted family and friends including his wife Eileen, his son Matthew, his stepdaughter Danielle and her husband Joe and their son Gavin. He is also survived by his sister Fran and his brother Ed and their families. Jim’s impact on his family will forever be remembered with deep gratitude, affection and will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved most dear.
