My very first boss as I headed into the real world at the age of 15. Dr. Evans took me under  his wing and guided me as I worked with him through my high school years. I’m just finding out that he is no more and I’m very sadden by the news. 
I pray for him and his family and I remember him everyday. Not only Dr Evan’s but Carol, his wife and his staff were always welcoming. I will never forget him and his team!!! He could never say my name so I was always Su for him. Truly blessed to be a part of him and his team, even though it was for a short time.  RIP Doc

I had no experience when Taylor hired me to be a lab technician and assistant. I remember how patient he was with me when he was training me and I was impressed by how much he knew about the mouth and teeth. Because of my ongoing marital problems he had to let me go and I understand that but I will always remember him as a very kind and patient man with problems like everyone else. My hope deep in my heart is that I will get to see him again someday  and let him know how much I appreciate him helping me and taking me in like a son. Those were some of the best days of my life working in his office and he truly was a delight to be around.

Taylor and I spent 10 years together.  We married in 1986 and they were some of the best years I have had.  We had a farm in Aubrey many years with horses, goats and even peacocks.  Between the antique shop, antique shows, practices in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Carrollton and Pilot Point and the farm we had a very busy life. 

Taylor and I loved , fought and ended our life together in 1996. He had a great influence on my son even put him to work in our offices.  He was 16 at the time and still today at 50 he remembers how terrified he was working on his first patient. 

Taylor was comfortable in any situation which shows how confident he was.  Our relationship ended badly but I will always remember his love for life and his impact on people he met.

Taylor made everyone feel so special. His adoration for Carol was unwavering. He seemed content in any situation and was genuinely attentive to others. Taylor and Carol loved conspiring to actively and sacrificailly benefit others with their talents and means. Their love for each other and others is to God's glory and a testimony of God's grace and love to them, in Christ . It is an honor and joy to be part of their lives.

I don’t even know where to start. I met 
Dr. Evans 18 years ago. I met him on a Saturday for a job interview.  I still remember the emotions I felt that day, starting a new chapter in my life. Just from chatting with him for a short bit that day, I knew he was a GREAT man!! Only a few days into my employment with SMILEXPRESS, I knew Dr. Evans would forever be a special man in my heart and life. He is such a blessing in my life. I have so many memories and stories, it almost feels like I’ve know him my entire life. He is a GREAT man and I will miss him soooooo much. It helps me to know that he has moved on to his forever home, he is at peace and he will be the best angel to everyone in his life!!

I’ve been blessed to know Taylor and Carol for many years, along with their beautiful family. They all share a loving, spirited bond through the good times and difficult challenges. 

Taylor leaves a legacy of sunshine and joy. I will miss seeing that twinkle of mischief in his eyes.❤️

     I wasn't able to be around him very much during the time I knew him in his later years, but he is a person that is very easy to get to know in a short period of time, so I do have some fond memories.
     Taylor has a lot of good qualities, here are a few that I think of right off when I think of him. He is very caring and giving, smart, he sees and points out the good in others, he is very thankful, he is confident in who he is, all of this and more with a touch of being ornery at times. Carol told us a story when we were down for Austin's wedding that summed up quite a bit of his qualities. She said that during one of the first few times of being with him she was talking to him about how observant she was and other things and after a bit he said "Really, and took his glasses off and put them back on right side up." 
     I will remember a lot of things about Taylor, a few that stand out will be: That he took care of my 2 daughters braces, he noticed people with needs and whether it be giving of his time or finances he would do whatever he could and do it without any kind of a thought about getting anything in return, he most always had a big smile, he was always glad to see you, he was very appreciative when someone did something for him, he was very loving, and he could relate to most anyone on any level. He enjoyed his fishing and ranching and enjoyed sharing in these things with others.
     A couple of personal memories I have of time spent with him are when you would talk with him he would be focused on the conversation and you knew he was paying attention to you, my first memory would probably be when Carol and he bought their Missouri house, he and I went out to Branson in my truck and did some man shopping for the house. He had a way of making time spent with him enjoyable.
     I will end this by saying that my life was very blessed by knowing Dr. Taylor Evans and I feel very privileged to be able to call him Uncle Taylor and my Brother in Christ. 

I love Uncle Taylor. I will truly miss his presence here on this earth. He was an amazing man. He was the most giving man I ever met. He was giving of his time. And if you had a need, he would do anything to help whether you were family or not.  Who knows? He may have even "entertained angels" as it says in The Word. You'll have many jewels in your crown Uncle Taylor for your generous heart.

He was clever & funny too. Also, he was a man of great wisdom. 
Uncle Taylor loved his family! He spoke of all of his children, step-children, grandchildren & great grands with fondness.  And he was so proud of them all.

My family & I were blessed to make many many memories with him &  Aunt Carol, not only at his home in Texas and his ranch in Paris, TX but also his home here in Missouri. He loved to come to Missouri! He loved fishing, pontooning, going to Branson, and relaxing & soaking in the breathtaking view of Lake Taneycomo & the Ozark mountains from his front yard.

Your presence will be missed but not forgotten. And this is not goodbye but "see you later" in our everlasting heavenly home. I love you!

Rebekah and I have been blessed to have spent so much time with Taylor over the last many years. We have so many stories to share. Taylor loved to have a good time and always made sure everyone around him did as well. Traci referenced the trip to Santa Fe, and I believe this picture is a true representation of my relationship with Taylor. We shared so many fun times including this trip, which thanks to he and Carol, was an amazing experience. 

I also love the story about him putting the pickle in the chili. Those who have ever heard Taylor and I reminisce know this story well, as it was always one of the best memories. He was a tenacious individual (smile). 

Taylor was truly one of a kind. He would give you the shirt off his back and never met a stranger. He valued family, and if you were someone he considered family, you were truly blessed.

He and Carol were kind enough to open their home up to Rebekah over the past couple of years, and she and Taylor really developed a great bond. She loved being there to help him, and loved watching him smile and laugh, which is something he loved to do. Anytime she made something to eat that he enjoyed it always made her happy, because everyone knows, he had quite the palate.

Taylor has such special place in our hearts, and we can only hope he knew how much he was truly loved. He will be missed in this life, but definitely not forgotten.

Taylor was a truly caring and insightful man.  I always remember the time when we were in Santa Fe, NM and he looked at me and said, "I can see that you and Stacy really do love each other".  Truer words were never spoken.  

He left this world a better place.

My deepest condolences to the family. I just know there is a mini family reunion going on up there right now. Prayers for peace.

We are certainly better having known Taylor.  As a member of our care group Taylor never failed to share a bright eyed smile and a welcoming warm hand shake to all.  We are all so honored to have shared in his company, and the fellowship of sharing about Jesus together.  His love for Jesus was evident and Jesus' Love for him shined as beautiful as the morning light.  We will miss him, and are reminded of the scripture in Isaiah 55:12-13. Certainly at Taylor's homecoming, The Lord set it so "The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." Growing up in Coleman, Texas where his grandfather Taylor lived, I always looked forward to family gatherings with all of my cousins. Taylor was one of my favorites. He and my brother John were about 4 years older.  Sill remember his warming smile.  He made me feel important !

My name is Lisa Floyd. I am married to Carol's brother Randy. Taylor is our brother-in law.  I have to say "is", because we know he is alive and well in Heaven with his Lord Jesus Christ.  Randy and I love Taylor very much!  One of my memories of him that I cherish is when we were having a family reunion in the fall of 2006. I had undiagnosed throat cancer at the time.  Taylor knew that I had a large lump in my neck and asked everyone to lay hands on me and pray for my healing.  He also prayed I could keep my teeth as this was questionable at the time...due to Radiation on my mouth. Thanks to the precious prayers of everyone there, all the prayers of my family and friends, many more prayers from people I have never met, and the Good Lord above... I have survived throat cancer and have been cancer free since Dec. 2006. I also have all of my teeth which are perfectly healthy.  Taylor is a man who believed in Randy and I in business ventures as well. He has always been a very kind loving brother to us, and we will miss him while we are apart. We do know, however, that someday we will be together forever in Heaven above,  by the Precious Grace of God.  

I have known Taylor Evan's since I was 6 years old and have found memories of him and his family.
I always thought the world of Taylor and have great respect for him. God bless, love and prayers to the Evan's family. 

I have so many memories with him, but if I had to chose a favorite it would be when we would sneak into his office at the practice and he would give me and my cousin Katie some Skittles from his work stash

I’m so sorry to hear about Taylor and will be praying for Carol and the family. He was SUCH a kind person who instantly made anyone feel like a friend. 

I have only nice memories of you and I cherish you in my heart. 

You were a teacher to me since the day I met you. The day we met was the day my whole world took a spin in the right direction. The day I got the honor to have you in my life. I just want to say thank you.

I don't know how it's possible but I literally felt pain in my heart, like it was breaking. How egocentric of me to think how to live without you instead of thinking about you. I didn't know how to react or what was right to do in that moment. All I knew is  you were part of my  world and my world was falling apart.

You helped me grow as a person and become strong. I became so strong that people wanted me by their side. I became their rock as you became mine. I started dreaming about my future and I started to desire so many things. I wanted success at many different things and you and Carol  supported me with everything. By just being you and just being there for me you gave me so much strength.

You even changed my opinion on others. I started to see the good in people instead of the bad. I started to see the good in life.  When I lost you I realized God's plan had been fulfilled.  I never wanted to get into healthcare and never truly understood why God would lead me down that path. Now I finally know for all the good things u had done God is faithful and placed me in your life on your final journey.  

So this is a big thank you. Thank you for the most amazing years of my life. Thank you for every lesson, every good and bad day I had with you. Thank you for teaching me what love means through your family. I never had such a big connection with anyone. You were and still are one in a trillion. I believe that I will never meet someone so special like you were.

Thank you for teaching me that it's never too late to do anything.All the stories I heard about you from carol. You touched my soul and you gave me so much hope.  Everything happens for a reason and you coming in my life was the best thing

Dr .Evans touched a lot of hearts during his practice as an orthodontist. He was a mentor, doctor, friend, but most of all a FATHER to us  .He treated us as a big family at SmileXo . Fun-filled drama and laughter are shared during those times .No dull moments!!!I guess that's how he is, he wants to  always include everyone on his journey. I am very grateful to have known such a great  Man !!!I guess it is safe to  say that I  am not the way I am right  now if I have not known you JTE!!!We  love you and you will be greatly missed!

June and I will not be able to attend the Memorial Service on
December 5, 2020  due to a previous commitment.
A lot of memories are stored about our childhood to adult
