She was born Oct 2, 1942 in San Antonio TX, to Sarah and Arturo Villareal and was the oldest of 3 siblings. She was married to Charles Edward Bowles on December 4, 1963 in San Antonio and had 2 children. She enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, watching football and spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. She was a Christian, witty, kind, helpful, personable and knew how to put people at ease around her. Blanche truly loved her family and lived it to the fullest by being present. She made sure family was always front and center in her life. She loved being a grandmother and enjoyed being an active part in her grandchildren’s daily lives. In recent years, you could always find her on the sideline cheering on her grandkids playing football, soccer and all other sports they were part of. She was always ready to travel, whether to visit family or go on family vacations. She will be missed by family and numerous friends.
Blanche is predeceased by her husband Charles Edward Bowles, father Arturo Villareal, mother Sarah Villareal, brother Richard Villareal.
She is survived by her children, Edward Charles Bowles, Samantha Bowles Lollar; 3 grandchildren, Ethan Lollar, Summer Lollar, Matthew Lollar; 2 siblings, Corine Drumm and Abraham Villareal.
Family, friends and others whose lives Blanche touched are invited to her Memorial Service scheduled for Saturday, January 4, 2025, 10 a.m. at Stonebriar Funeral Home, 10375 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75033 to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Blanche Bowles' memory to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This was a charity that she regularly donated to www.stjude.org
