William Leroy Cook, age 91, of Fresno, California passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
William L. Cook was born to William J. Cook and Pauline Rubie on July 27, 1932 - in Fresno, CA.
Where William attended Fresno schools and graduated from Edison High School in 1951.
William served in the Air force during the Korean war as an aircraft mechanic - from 1951 to 1955. William was honorably discharged with rank A/1C, and was awarded the national defense and good conduct medals.
In 1961, William married Marlene "Ellis" - his darling wife. In 1963, William and his wife moved from Fresno to Southern California.
Williams last place of employment was Beckman Instruments - makers of scientific and diagnostic analyzers. The job was to set up and operate computerized machining centers. William retired after 28 years and returned to Fresno in 1994.
