Susan Irene Warkentin

Susan was a cosmetologist for 10 years, at one point owning her own salon, The Creative Hair.

Several years later, after ending her hair styling business career, Susan embarked on another career, training and showing horses. She always had a love for horses so she trained and showed them for about 15 years only stopping due to an accident associated with horses.

Susan passed away tragically and suddenly on December 10, 2024 Susan is survived by her husband Ken, her son Steve and wife Lisa and their children, Allison and husband Cody Kendall with their two children, Caleb and Amberly, Katie Warkentin, Ryan Warkentin of Fresno and daughter Keri Warkentin of Santa Barbara and her brother David Cole of North Carolina. Susan was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

On Thursday, December 26, 2024, there will be a private burial service. Following the burial, there will be a memorial gathering, for close friends and relatives for Susan at the Whitehurst Funeral Home.
