Steven Wade Chow

Steven died on March 27, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with several illnesses. Steve, age 61, was born in Sacramento, and moved to Fresno with his family in 1956. He graduated from McLane High School in 1969 and from CSU Fresno with a bachelor degree in business in 1995. Steve completely placed his faith in Christ. Steve spent his career as a commercial truck driver. His favorite times were spent bass fishing, camping, and hiking with his family. He was also a car enthusiast and enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle.

Steve was a beloved husband, son, father, brother, uncle and devoted friend to many who will be dearly missed. Steve is predeceased by his father Charlie Chow, and is survived by his loving wife Carmen, sons Jonathan and Curtis, mother Lina, sister Sandy and her husband Ron Chun, brother Greg and wife Cyndi, brother Gerald and wife Julia and sister Beverly. Steve is also survived by his devoted in-laws Hans and Gerda Hildebrandt, brother-in-law Hans Hildebrandt and wife Lisa, and brother-in-law Kurt Hildebrandt and wife Lynn, in addition to many, loving nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Clovis on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 am.
