On a rainy Tuesday, our beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Uncle left this life on earth for the Magnificent Glory of Heaven. His eternal home. For those of us who must stay behind, we lost our anchor, the center of the family. He loved us all, family was everything to him and he was so much fun to be around. He loved to play pool with anyone and he played to win. He loved to give advice to his grandchildren and they always listened to what he had to say.
Keith was born in Holtville, Calif. to Alex and Bea Eubanks. When he was 6 years old, they moved to Tranquillity, where he lived the rest of his life. He attended elementary and high school in Tranquillity and two years at Coalinga Junior College. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served 2 years active duty and 4 years reserve.
He married his sweetheart, Patricia Sneed, on November 4, 1961. They celebrated their 60th anniversary on November 4th, 2021. They were blessed with three children: Sidney Keith Eubanks II (wife Nadia), Suzanne Kathleen (husband Dale Simpson) and Sonja Kristine (husband Joseph Ayerza). And 10 perfect grandchildren: Sidney Keith III, Haley, Scott, Joshua (wife Leslie), Danielle, Brooke (husband JT Arruda), Kaitlyn, Madeline, Abigail and Kaite. He also leaves behind his only sister, Penny Sue Blythe, her husband Willie and many nephews and cousins.
A large part of his life was spent farming and selling farm products. He was always looking for ways to improve his community and served on the Tranquillity Union High School Board, The Fresno County Board of Education, The Tranquillity Chamber of Commerce, Fresno County Community Development Advisory Committee and as a Fresno County Planning Commissioner.
Keith was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. God blessed him with a beautiful voice and he sang at many funerals, weddings and church services in the valley. He used his voice to honor God and to help encourage those who were grieving. When he was young, he would sit on the piano bench and his mother would teach him to sing. After he married Pat, they became a team and she would accompany him when he sang. It was a blessing for both of them to be of service to whoever might need help.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Stephens & Bean Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Service will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Stephens & Bean Funeral Chapel, burial to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
