Roger Asadoor

Roger was born in Fowler, California to Carl and Marie Asadoor on August 25, 1933. After brief stints at three high schools, he graduated from Fresno High in 1950. After one year at Fresno State, he was drafted into the Army where he served until the end of the Korean War.

Upon returning to Fresno, he began working for his brother at Ronnie's Midway Market in Pinedale, California. A few years later he met the love of his life, Ann, and opened Roger's Midway Liquor. The two of them owned the liquor store for almost fifty years, with Roger often being referred to as "The Mayor of Pinedale." Roger and Ann enjoyed traveling throughout their life with cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie, son Rick Mahaffey, daughter-in-law Susan Asadoor, granddaughters Rachel Mahaffey and McKenzie Asadoor and great granddaughter Angel Mahaffey.

Roger is survived by his wife of 64 years Ann, daughter Melinda (Glenn) Harvey, sons Bob Mahaffey and Randy Asadoor (Molly), ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
