Bob, I wrote out a list of memories I had of you. The list was so long it won't upload to this site. Thank you for stepping in to be my dad when I had lost mine. Thank you for stepping into a family with a live at home grandpa--Papa, and accepting him and taking care of him. I can only imagine the dreams you must have had as a young man, you were adventurous, most people don't know that.  But you rode dirt bikes, loved to drive fast, listen to Rock-n-Roll. You served our country and were proud of it, you even had a Sailor Jerry-style devil tattoo on your arm.  You put those dreams aside to come into our lives and be responsible and provide for us. You ensured I always had what I needed and most of what I wanted. You bought me a motorcycle when I was 5! You took me camping. You took me hunting even though you didn't like hunting.  You encouraged me to get a paper route when 11 and work to be the best at it, you would even get up early and help me sometimes. In second grade I wanted to play baseball, you took me to try-outs and volunteered to be a coach on my team so I wouldn't be scared. You didn't get mad when you caught me chewing Copenhagen at 10 years old, you just talked to me and explained to me how bad it was. You came to school and helped me build a device that helped me when an egg-dropping contest. You put up with all my struggles as a emotionally struggling kid/teenager and all the trouble I got into in schools. You took me camping in the desert. You took me to Pismo--constantly--to camp and ride 3-wheelers. Thank you for everything. I love you and you will always be missed. Love Bill

Grandpa Bob - It’s strange to think of you not being here. Even though it’s a part of life it never makes it easy. You are missed so very much. You were always so happy to see us every time we came in. We love you. Kaylee, Dylan, and Jenn

You will be missed. As you pass into Heaven. I can think back to all the times we were all on all those vacations. We all were water skiing, visiting monuments or theme parks or riding dirt bikes at Crab Flats and how much Fun we were all having and how Happy we were together. God Bless you as God takes you into his Kingdom.
