Ramona Diaz

The gates of heaven opened as Ramona Diaz passed away on January 23, 2016, her husband Rudy Diaz of 56 years of marriage, her children and grandchildren where at her bedside as she went home to be with her lord. Ramona's joyful life commenced on May 5, 1938, in Harlingen, Texas.

Her parents were Jose and Evelyn Rodriguez, They were a family of four sisters and three brothers.

She retired in 2005 from San Joaquin Country Club, after 30 years of services. She spent her retirement volunteering for St. John's Catholic Church Jail Ministry "Matthew 25" and St. Helen's Altar Guild. She enjoyed attending Sacred Heart Church Retreat's, gardening, spending time with her seven grandchildren, and going with family camping to Pismo Beach, she enjoyed walking along the beach with her two little dogs.

Visitation will be at St. Helen's Catholic Church on Thursday January 28, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow the visitation at the church at 6:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen's on Friday January 29, 2016 at 11:00 am.
