.Herminia “Minnie” Garcia was born in Los Angeles, California on May 2, 1926. Minnie passed away at the age of 90, on February 1, 2017. Married for 62 years, Minnie and Maximo raised their two children and grandson in Hayward, California, eventually moving to Fresno in 1988.
Minnie was a kind, humble and God fearing woman. She will always be remembered for her love, generosity and her playful ways that kept her young at heart.
Minnie is preceded in death by her daughter Martha Garcia-Price. Survived by her husband Maximo; her son Tony Garcia and wife Lisa; five grandchildren, Roman Garcia and wife Blanca; Anna and Tony E. Garcia, Blake and Derek Facio and their spouses; nine great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
