Melvin Brown

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of my husband and beloved father, Melvin Brown who passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at his residence at the age of 71 years old. He was born to Jewel and Marjorie Brown on Sunday December 7, 1952.

Melvin served in the United States Marines for 3 years. He retired as a refrigeration technician at Strategic Mechanical. Melvin was a loving and protective father, and a devoted husband to his wife Amanda Brown of 41 years. He grew up in Laton California and enjoyed the country life. A very skillful man that could build or repair just about anything. He was also very talented at drawing. Melvin was generous, had a big heart and loved his family and adored his 14 grandchildren.

He was a follower of Christ and enjoyed serving as a deacon at Trinity Community Church.

Melvin Brown is survived by his wife Amanda Brown and their children Melvin Brown, Nichole Saldivar and Brittany Regensberg. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren Nicholas, Alex, Alicia, Aaron, Micah, Scarlett, Kaison, Jeremiah, Mya, Tristan, Ella, Camila, Ezra and one on the way.

Our family would like to thank our church, family and friends for their support, prayers and care for Melvin Brown. Thank you all for the love that was poured out to him and our family.

A burial service will be held on Friday, November 22nd at 12:30pm at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Rd, Santa Nella CA 95322.
