Mary A. Gilbert passed away peacefully in Fresno, Ca. on Friday, August 2, 2013. She was born in Sultana, Ca. on July 17, 1922. Mary was active in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Yee and the staff at the Nancy Hinds Hospice for their compassionate care.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Rose Piombino; and son, Louis F. Marciocchi.
She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Lulejian and her husband Richard, Rosemary Groom and her husband Birney, and Marsha Phillips. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Thursday, August 8, 2013. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery
