He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Joe owned his own scientific and clinical glass laboratory business for 48 years. He enjoyed family gatherings, treasured friends, good cooking, playing golf and cards.
We want to extend our gratitude to Joe's doctors and staff at the St. Agnes Medical Center ICU unit.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tony; mother, Lillian; and brother, Sam.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Josephine, of 59 years; four sons, Joseph Jr., Steven, Christopher, and Matthew; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home, on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to St. Agnes Medical Center or the charity of your choice.
