His advised was always spot on, when I was much younger it didn’t make sense .  But as I got older it suddenly was clear he knew just what he was talking about 💙 I hope you knew just how much we all admired you.

Grandpa Joe. Words can’t express how grateful I am to have had you as my grandpa. My kids are extremely lucky to have you as their “Papa Joe”. My heart aches less knowing you’re in heaven, pain free, dancing and laughing. But I can’t lie and say it doesn’t hurt like heck. It brings me peace knowing you’re with Jesus, the man I would only trust with a gem like you. I love you so much, and miss you terribly. Until we meet again Papa Joe ❤️

Jose is survived by his wife, Agrapina Sanchez; his daughter Delia Rendon (Luis); his son Joe Sanchez (Trish); his daughter Sylvia Gonzales (Mike); his son Gabriel Sanchez (Maggie); and his daughter Donna Lujan (Henry).He is also survived by his siblings Carmen Castro, Rosalio Sanchez, Rosemary Alfaro, Vidal Sanchez, Antonia Noriega, Yolanda Villalobos, Elidia Bracamonte, Mary Helen Guardo and Ramona Sanchez, 17 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
