Jeanette A. Scott

Jeanette A. Scott died, Friday, June 12, 2020. She was 94 years old. She passed in the comfort of her own home in Coarsegold, CA where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law and was surrounded by a lot of family. She was the last of the "great generation of WWII" in her family, preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Scott served in church ministry her entire life as pastor's wife, church pianist and organist. She worked in the banking industry for 25 years and as Office Manager for Kalsbeek Chiropractric in Castro Valley for 11 years.

She had been married and widowed to 3 pastors: Truman Collard of Castro Valley, CA, Pascal Harris of TX and her most recent marriage to Pastor Dale Scott, Pastoral Care Minister of Yosemite Lakes Community Church in Coarsegold.

She is survived by 4 children: Dr. Glenn Collard of North Carolina, Darrell Collard of Lompoc, CA, Carlene Schrank of Coarsegold, and Kyle Collard of Hemet, CA. She is also survived by Grandchildren: Wendy Skenderi, Greg Collard, Jill Collard, Janet Collard, Cyndi Schrank, Jason Collard, Krystie Scull, Rebecca Dreuske, Mitchell Collard and Harrison Collard. She also leaves behind 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two grandsons: Timothy Collard and David Schrank.

Family and friends describe Jeanette Scott as the most gracious, sweet lady whose faith in God was as pure as a child's. Her life was a true testimony to trusting God through all the hardships of her life.

Services will include:

Visitation will be held at the Palm Sierra Memorial Chapel (49269 Road 426, Oakhurst, CA 93644) on Friday, June 19 from 4:00 - 8:00.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at Yosemite Lakes Community Church, 43840 Patrick Ave., Coarsegold, CA.

Jeanette will be Laid to rest: at Memory Gardens in Concord, with a ceremony for family only.
