James is survived by his sons, Galen Nishioka; Cary Nishioka; Lance Nishioka; and Gavin Nishioka; and his brother Akira Nishioka, six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

A funeral service for James will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721.
