James Becker Sr. He was loved deeply and widely by everyone he met. His charismatic and
charming personality gave him a special place in all our hearts.
During childhood he grew up with his father and stepmother Beth where he spent much of his
time pursuing his passions and interests. He enjoyed many things such as reading, video
games, acting, swimming, music, and spending time outdoors. He was particularly enthusiastic
about civil war history, Bigfoot conspiracy theories, and art, interests that were carried on with
him to adulthood.
He enjoyed camping out in the woods on the hunt for Bigfoot, and making art during his
recreational time for those he loved and cared about. He would also never miss the opportunity
to give out a free history lesson knowing things that even his teachers in grade school hadn't
known before.
He was an extremely outgoing person, participating in countless school events. He was the lead
role in a community play, playing James in James and the Giant Peach and participated in the
Civil War Reenactment. He was class president for sixth grade and all throughout middle
school, and in second grade he played for his elementary school soccer team.
He passed on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the young age of 37. He will be remembered always
by his friends and family who shall never forget the impact he had on all of their lives. He is
survived by his two year old son Mason Becker, father and stepmother James and Beth Becker,
his mother Lisa Collins, his significant other Sophia Ratto, and his three siblings, Nicole Alvarez
(spouse Terrance), Gyle Becker (spouse Jocelyn), and Jack Becker.
James was preceded in death by his grandmother Sally Beck, his Aunt June Becker, his uncle
Wally Becker, and his grandfather Henry Collins.
Although he is no longer present, he forever remains in our hearts and continues to live in our
memories.
