Best person ever, not just best optometrist! Made his patients feel as important as family. Remembered us and important details of our lives through we had only visited his office three times! What a wonderful, caring person the world has lost at way too young an age! Passed the day after Earth Day.

I hung out with Jay in high school and Maria worked at our family store…We  know all of you.  I was taking Rods mom to her eye appointment and asked about Jay.. I was in total shock!  I’m sorry for all of you in the loss of Jay.  It will be hard at times, but know he lives on in our memories and he will not be forgotten!  We’re praying for all of you during this difficult time.

I was shocked to hear of Dr. Wong’s passing! I had just seen him for my eye exam on March 30th. He was the BEST optometrist and the only optometrist I have ever had at Kaiser.  He was my eye doctor since at least 2008. He was so kind, funny and easy to talk to. I just can’t believe he is gone. I’m very sad. My deepest thoughts and prayers go to his family, his partner and his 
colleagues. He was a great man.

Dr. Wong was our optometrist at Kaiser for the past few years. We were incredibly shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He was professional, knowledgeable, thorough. He was also friendly and kind. It will take time to get used to the loss for, I’m sure, many people. He will be greatly missed.

Jay was a kind, gentle and humble man. In the 4 years we were at CAL  I never saw him as anything but upbeat and positive. We need more people like Jay Wong in this world!!  Jay  you are missed but your positive goodwill will live on  forever.

Dr. Jacinto Wong was my optometrist. He was always very kind, especially when he had to give me difficult news on a progressing eye condition. May he rest in peace.

Our deepest sympathy to the Wong family.  Dr. Wong  had been our optometrist for over l8 years.  He was a true professional and always put you at ease.  We will miss him terribly.  We are having a mass said for him on June l9th.

My deepest sympathy goes out to your family.  Dr. Wong was my favorite eye doctor among the many I have had over the years.  He was compassionate  and reassuring when I developed eye issues.  His humanity shone through in his treatment of patients.  I will miss his care and counsel.

We are shocked and saddened to hear Doctor Wong passed. He was the best optometrist as he was personally concerned about his patients and so supportive my husband in dealing with his glaucoma diagnosis. He always did a little extra for his patients like recalling and  asking me how my biology class was coming along. He is a person who, even if you don’t know him personally, you know him anyway: a great guy who will be missed by all with whom he came into contact. 

To Dr. Wong's family, my condolences to you all and my thoughts and prayers to you. I work at Kaiser also, and was Dr. Wong's patient for over 15 years, I will miss him.  He was such a kind man. ❤️

So very sorry for your families loss. Dr. Wong was one of Kaisers most loved doctors.  Such a pleasant man. Always greeted everyone with a smile. He was one of my favorites. 

I was so sorry to hear about Dr. Wong’s passing.  I met Dr. Wong when the optometry deapartment opened at Kaiser. I worked with him for years. He was a kind soul. Sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.
