Inman Perkins was born on January 20, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Edison High School and furthered his education at Fresno City College, then continued at Fresno State.
In his career, Inman worked at the IRS, Fresno Bee, San Jose Mercury, and The San Francisco Chronicle. Outside work Inman dedicated his time to his family and art and crafts. He also dedicated his time to be the cheerleader of over 50 years with Fresno State Baseball, spreading joy and spirit at various games. He also served as a zoo tour guide. Passionate about the tiger exhibit, where he shared his knowledge and love for the animal kingdom.
Inman Perkins is survived by his sons, Scott, Jared, and Richard; his grandchildren, Monique, Jared, Jr., Destiny, and Angel. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna, father, Inman, mother, Hazel, aunt, Wansetta, and grandma, Gertrude.
Inman will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his warmth and kindness.
