Gary Glenn Munger

Gary spent most of his life in San Diego and graduated from Hoover High School in 1963. He moved to Los Angeles to work in the advertising industry and to attend Woodbury University. He graduated in 1967 earning a degree in Business Administration with a marketing specialization.

In 1974, Gary enlisted in the United States Army. He was stationed in Heilbron, Germany for three years where he married Marta Jean Ayers of Sandpoint, Idaho. Gary served 14 years in the Army, then was employed for 20 years as a Finance Manager in the automotive/recreational vehicle industry, from which he retired 4 years ago. He greatly enjoyed spending the past 2 years living near his three grandsons.

Gary is survived by his mother Jean A. Bell of Spring Valley, CA; his daughter Katrina Jean Edwards and her husband Cory Edwards of Madera, CA; his sister Linda Mohilchock of Anaheim, CA; his brother Dale Bell and his wife Judy Bell of Phoenix, AZ; his brother James Bell of Spring Valley, CA; and three grandsons, Tyler, Logan and Quaid Edwards of Madera, CA. He is preceded in death by his father Arthur V. Munger and stepmother Wei “Julie” T. Munger of San Diego, CA; and his brother Bert Bell of Jamul, CA.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, February 4, in the Tolladay Theater at the Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens, 5555 North Fresno Street, Fresno 93710. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 6, at the Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113.
