children Benny, Judy and Kelly, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren. She
loved all her first born from each child, Benjamin Jr., Minerva and Eric and she was really close to them
but loved all her grand kids.
She was born in a small town Malaga. She was born to her parents Mr. & Mrs. Anastacio Avilla
on May 11, 1928. She had a real nice upbringing with 2 sisters and 4 brothers. All brothers have since
passed on, we don't know about the sisters. Made a lot of friends growing up in Malaga. Got married
and moved to L.A. Had Benny and Judy and eventually moved back to Malaga as a single mother had
Kelly later on. When Kelly was 7 years old Donna moved to Fresno to work at a retirement home as a
cook on the west side of Fresno. Donna loved cooking, making homemade tortillas and spending time
with friends and family. As she grew older she lived by herself for years, did her own laundry, cooking,
cleaning up until her late eighties. Her favorite breakfast was fried potatoes, 2 easy over eggs, salsa and
tortillas. She also loved her coffee and pastries. She was a funny lady wouldn't cry at funerals but would
cry at her Spanish soap operas, go figure. Shopping was one of her passions. She loved being outdoors
barbequing, looking at the ducks in the parks just trying to enjoy her golden years. Donna was quite the
talented person making her friends aprons. She would do all the alternations the family she loved her IDI'\5
sewing machine. She went everywhere with her children spent a lot 0 holidays with Kelly that's just
where she felt comfortable.
Donna did real well until she decided to go with our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a great lady,
strong, independent and caring. Mom you will always be in our heart and should. Rest in peace till we
meet again.
Mom would say to us All don't cry I am at home with all my friends and family that has passed.
Thank God I had 90 good years with all of you. And I'm blessed for that.
God Bless You All !!
