Mom, here we are 3years after your passing.
 And I’m sitting in your living room,crying and thinking of you. Going thru so much change in my life and your not here to give me guidance or your opinions that u would give even when I didn’t want to hear.  

Mom u would be 67 this year 2024.
 just can’t believe it.
I know your in heaven with poppy pat, pa, nana Connie, Libby, your friend Joey and your passed loved ones. I know you’re happy and at peace 🕊️ we miss u. Your son misses u, the grandkids miss u.Keep showing me your light. Keep communicating thru my dreams.
I’m going to school for RN!!! I’m almost done! I know you’d be so proud. Me and ant are taking classes. We’re almost there!

Dee Dee…you helped me when no one else would and for that I will forever  be greatful  to you……I know we had our differences, but that is  all water under the bridge now that your gone!… RIP Dee until we meet again!

Today I went to see you. I couldn’t believe it was you. I have been in shock since I heard the news of your passing early morning New Years Day. You fought so long and hard. My heart has been so broken for your girls and Dom. I just can’t believe you’re gone. We were a “tag” team for Des. I’ll always be grateful for all you did for her. We talked so many times about our kids and their progress through life. I’m going to really miss you my friend. I thank God for being able to text you while you were in the hospital. I won’t forget you and I’ll always be there for your kids. I love you..till we meet again ..

Dee....Dear Denise I am so in shocked I truly feel like this is not real. I don't understand why so soon. Only God knows why and he must have big plans for you. I am sorry I couldn't say good bye before you left, but I want to tell you I hope you are going to be watching over us. You have always been there and you have always been watching over.  I am so sorry Antionette, Gabby, Marina, Dominic, and your beautiful grandkids for your loss. You will be missed so much so much it's  so sad to be doing this , but goodbye for now. You are amazing and my deepest condolence to your loved ones. You'll always be remembered and loved. ❤

Mom, I love you & Miss you so much!! Tomorrow is your viewing & I’m dreading these next few days. It feels so unreal to me, that your never coming back. That I’m never gonna hear you laughter or voice again. It feels like a nightmare & I’m gonna wake up soon. I never imagined that when I dropped you off at the hospital that night, that was the last time I would see you. They took you so fast, I didn’t even get to hug you. I said I loved you & you said it back. You had so much more to live for, I know you didn’t want to go. If it wasn’t for that damn disease you would of still been here. You told us you wanted to go to the beach for your birthday & you were craving tacos. So now every year on your birthday, we will eat tacos at the beach in memory of you mom. You were my eating buddy, I could always count on you to come with me. I’d ask you, mom where do you want to go eat at? You would say, I don’t care let’s just go somewhere good! My kids miss you, Keilani says Nani is in Heaven & Dom cry’s for you. He said he felt your presence & I know some how your still here with us. You practically lived with us because I worked so much & you watched my kids. Life will not be the same without you mom, your the strongest person I knew & I will forever treasure that love in my heart. I’ll try my best for you because you taught us to be strong & to never depend on a man. I will continue my education and become an RN & move to SD like we always talked about. You always said you wanted to go back & I was going to bring you with me. You were my best friend & my heart aches for you! I love listening to Sade because it reminds me of you. It’s so hard to say goodbye & I don’t want to but I know I have to let go. I promise I will watch over brother & take care of him like you always did no matter what. I’ve thought many times of what I would write each time it got harder and harder. It’s hard to believe my nana isn’t home with me, I keep expecting her to walk through that door with a smile and something in her hand, she always brought something new to the house wether it being a new plant from Jennie or some random thing we probably didn’t need! I miss her laugh she was such a fun and thoughtful person, not once did she turn someone down, she loved to do the most for people with nothing in return. She taught me many many things one being to never be selfish. She helped raise me and ally our whole 20 years of life, when we were just 5 years old I still remember we would BEG her to spend the night so we could watch movies all night and have her rub our backs till we fell asleep.. I miss her so much, I just want to hug her and tell her I love her and how much she means to me. She used to tell me this story that when she was going through a hard time in her life that I was her angel as a baby who gave her life again and a reason to keeping fighting and keep living!😔 Now you’re my angel nana, I know you’ll forever be by my side and always protect me🤍 I know you wanted the best for us so I’m going to do the very best for you, I’m going to do everything I promised I would just for you. I love you

Dee was like a second mom to me.. Antoinette her daughter is my best friend. I still can't believe that she's gone. I cried like a baby asking God why her but I know he had other plans for her. I have so many good memories of her and the family. From bday parties, to coming over to my parents house for a family party. Dee had the biggest heart with open arms.. She opened up her home to me and helped me out while I was at a stage in my life. She gave the best advice and always said to never depend on a man lol. She never looked down on anyone,  always had a helping hand. Last visit I came to fresno she couldn't make but said she'd make it next time but never knew that was going to be the last time I was able going to see and talk to her.. Dee, I love and miss you so much. You'd be proud of me . Thank you for everything you've done for me. I wish I could of hugged you one last time.. Fly high with the angels in heaven and see the state of Tennessee where I live...  I love you❤ -- Mari 

     Dee and I met over 50 years ago and have maintained our friendship through thick and thin.  I met her at Cooper.  We remained friends through Fresno High, her move to San Diego, her move back to Fresno, our marriages, our children, and our grandchildren.  We were able to do this because it didn't matter whether we spoke every day or once a month our conversation would just pick up like it was yesterday.  We both understood that sometimes life gets in the way of friendship, but we didn't let it.
     We shared our happy times and our sad times throughout the years, and she helped me through many of my sad times.  I only hope that I was as much a comfort to her as she was to me.
     My only regret is that I don't have more time to show her how much she has always and will always mean to me.  I know that we now have a very Special Angel looking down on us and helping us.

I will always remember her beautiful big smile, her laugh, she had a beautiful ❤️ and soul. We had lost contact for a long time till we reunited again on FB I was so happy to see her again. I couldn't believe I lost my best friend I was so heartbroken and cried all day. Many memories came to me of us in the many years as friends. I will always miss you till we meet again. Love you Dee 

Denise Denise my grandmas friend you helped us out so much she gave us everything she could give us even it’s her last penny she took me and my grandma places such as the island water park, the park, baseball games,the movies, the store, out to eat, when I was in school every Friday I had a spelling test and she told me if I get a A she will buy me a happy meal and that gave me motivation and makes me get good grades back then and now to get something I want, and  with my best friend Dominic felt like a brother to me she always had a great heart smile and funny always tell me and Dominic to drink water because we always drink soda and always Remember to drink water and me and my grandma was so grateful that you came into our lives to meet your wonderful family and your great heart the happy family helped us live right now if it wasn’t for you i don’t know where me and my grandma would be because we had nobody and thank you for all the memories and love by you Denise love Richard Rubio and Darlene Bonilla 

I'm going to miss my good friend spending time with her when lived together  learned a lot about get she was the.sweetest person you could ever meet she helped me and my grandson yout opened her home to us and her laughter was so unique it was one of a kind just look ike her I miss her so much love you  from Richard Rubi& Darlene Bonilla


Dee... I know I have to accept that you are gone but I don't want to. I want to hold on to you as long as I can even though I know its impossible. I will see you evertime I'm outside fussing with my succulents. I love you my dear friend and miss you immensely.  I keep waiting for your morning call.
